Financial Support

Each year we aim to raise £11,000 from donations (18% of our income) which is needed to run our work in schools and our work supporting young adults in the community through our Café hubs and work, skills and wellbeing programmes.  The rest we will find through grants and trading with schools and our cafe.  This in-turn will enable the same value again in contributions from skilled volunteers.
Our highlights are always changing but have included;
Twenty eight young people getting work experience placements which they will never forget.  In our café hubs, we train people in customer service and barista training through to social media marketing and people management.  In our property renovation project, we train people in health and safety, demolition, plastering, tiling, decorating and lots more.  We help people search for jobs and walk with them through the interview and outcomes helping them make every experience count.
Several hundred young people will attend our lunch clubs and after school activities over the course of a year.  They will share deeply about themselves and learn some of the secrets to growing up.
Hundreds of students will experience one or more of our enrichment classes in school where realities will come to life in the subjects of emotional health, consent, life balance, identity and gender, drugs and alcohol.
Over a hundred students will be given the opportunity over four weeks to think about their faith and how they might make use of the student link up scheme to find a church that can help them when they go to university.
Another thirty students will explore faith every week with us during lunch clubs.
